Goose egg shell created using original batik designs and patterns. Each egg is handmade using dyes, varnish and regionally sourced eggs and beeswax.
This beautiful traditional pysanka pattern will be lovingly created in the traditional wax resist (batik) and dye process on a real blown goose egg. It will then be sealed with a coat of archival artist's UV resistant crystal clear finish. Size will vary depending on the species and variety. Beeswax is locally sourced. Egg shells are sourced locally during the season. When unavailable in the area, the farmer is known.
